Finally! Eight Unlocked Cores, Affordable K-SKUs and Improved TIM for Haswell.

Finally – that is the only word I can come up with to describe the feeling when I saw Intel’s announcements at GDC a couple of days ago. Finally, the real performance enthusiasts get what they have been begging for since Gulftown 4 years ago. Finally, Haswell gets a TIM make-over and can hopefully overclock to the same heights Sandy Bridge could. And finally we will get an affordable K CPU with the Pentium K.

This change of mind ties in perfectly with our plans for the Rev6 "eSports". Haswell-E for Pro, renewed Haswell for Division I and a brand-new series for Division III. It's great seeing a plan coming together! :)
