This is just one of those days where you come across a new benchmark score and you think "well, this was unexpected". Wytiwx from China noticed that the best performance (after overclock) in HWBOT Prime seems to be achieved by the Penryn architecture and found a solution to compete in the single core category. The processor he chose is the Intel Celeron 900, which is running at 2.2GHz default. Using a notebook motherboard, he managed to overclock the FSB to 363MHz, resulting in a CPU frequency of 4GHz.
With that setup Wytiwx manages to grab a new top score in the 1xCPU HWBOT Prime ranking. Impressive work!
