Development Update: League Points Fixed and Login or Register Using FB/Twitter/G+

Slowly but steadily we are turning out the development engine again. At the moment, we are working through our backlog trying to organize all the bug reports and feature requests. In addition, we are also continuing work on the upcoming Revision 6. In between that, we try to implement features as efficiently as possible. Later today, we will move one bug-fix and one new feature from our test environment to the production site.

  • Bug fix for League Points - from now on the League points will be correctly recalculated if someone beats your score. In addition, the submission rankings will now be correctly updated if someone deletes a score in that particular ranking.

  • Login or register with social media - a feature which is long overdue, but from now on you will be able to log in and register using your Facebook, Twitter or Google+ account.

As always, if you find any bugs or have any new feature suggestions, feel free to let us know in the forums or via mail!

The Staff.

HWBOT engine v5.15.5 installed. : )

Canada Vinster says:

how will you link an account here with FB? Vin

Belgium richba5tard says:

The functionality is for currently only used for authentication of new users, so they don't have to create a local HWBOT account but use their facebook/twitter/google account to log in on the bot. Existing users will need to continue to log in using their username/password. Technically we can support linking existing users to facebook/twitter/google accounts, but this was out of scope for this release.

Canada Vinster says:

Ok, that makes sense. Vin

Belgium Massman says:

Hi Hideo, Did you change the password somehow? As far as I can see there's nothing that could cause this behavior.

Japan Hideo says:

Belgium Massman says:
