Low-Cost ARM HWBOT Prime Challenge Up And Running

A couple of weeks ago, we published our Raspberry PI overclocking guide. This guide included a hands-on guide for overclocking the Raspberry Pi as well as an introduction to HWBOT Prime. HWBOT Prime is a Java-based benchmark developed in-house that supports other platforms than X86-64. During September and October, we are organizing the (world's first?) ARM overclocking competition, featuring three stages. The stages differentiate by CPU core count - a single core ARM unit will compete only against other single core devices.

Participating is very easy. Just run the HWBOT Prime benchmark, save the benchmark score, and use that file to upload to the competition. Alternatively, you can also submit your benchmark from the benchmark application, and later submit the score via the HWBOT website.

It is very possible that the SoC used for your ARM device has not been added to our hardware database. If that is the case, please do not hesitate to contact us in our forums. We will be happy to add your SoC to our database!

Just like any overclocking competition, enjoy and have fun. Good luck!
