It has been a while since the last Team Cup 2013 update and a lot has happened since. In case you -still- don't know, the Team Cup is a team-based online overclocking competition hosted by HWBOT. For this edition we - excuse the lame pun - teamed up with Cooler Master to arrange the prize side of the contest. About a week we updated the prize list, but more on that after a short Team Cup news updated.

Where Overclock.net was leading the pack last time we covered the competition, followed close by Classicplatforms.com and AwardFabrik, as of writing it is the Belgian team Madshrimps that is on top of the overall ranking. Madshrimps is the first (but probably not the last) team to score over a thousand (1000!) points in the Team Cup and is sitting comfortably in the pole position having a two hundred point lead over second place. Following Madshrimps, we find the three same teams as before: Overclock.net, AwardFabrik and Classicplatforms.com. Currently, 78 teams are in competition and it seems like the battle for top-10 might become very interesting. As we are still not half-way yet it is not that easy to speculate about the final ranking, but with five teams within 30 points from place 8 to 13 we are interested to see how the competition will rise in intensity.
