It seems like a lot of overclockers picked this weekend to smash some new records; first K|ngp|n with his GTX Titan domination in 3DMark11 and 3DMark Fire Strike, then the boys from OCLab.ru with the close-to-epic 3DMark03 overall record and now the men from Team.AU with another record. A bit suprisingly, neither the Russian nor the Australian overclockers went for the new GTX Titan graphics card, but both went for the AMD brand. Well, maybe the HD 7970 X2 isn't really a surprise - it still is AMD's most high-end offering - but the Australians just went back a couple generations and picked the Radeon HD 5970 for their record-breaking run. Interesting, that's for sure.

As you can see from the benchmark overview table on the frontpage, the Aussies are not quite done yet dominating the bot this weekend and have put up a couple of interesting 3DMark01 and Aquamark benchmark results. I wonder where they will end up in the Pro OC League after this weekend. Go Team.AU!
