GK104 (GeForce GTX 680 / GTX 670) PCB Pictured in Full
It looks like a 8800GT!! Also, quite an interesting choice of power connector.
Here is the first true-color picture of the GeForce Kepler 104 (GK104) reference PCB shot in full (well, almost, excluding the uneventful PCIe bus connector). The picture provides a panoramic view of the card's VRM as shown in a drawing posted earlier this day, and reveals the strange double-decker power connector. The card is loaded with a 5-phase NVVDC configuration, as detailed in an older article. It also confirms that the GK104 has a 256-bit wide memory interface, with likely 2 GB standard memory amount. This is also the first picture of the GK104 ASIC, which has square package, and somewhat square die. While the PCB is green in color, it's most likely an engineering sample. The final product (branded GeForce GTX 680 / GTX 670 Ti), could have a black-colored one.

NVIDIA should concentrate more to release this one...
AMD's 28nm cards were not enough as expected :|
looks way too simple, even for a ref card
Is like a 6800GT.
what a wierd power connector.
if that is gtx680 why whe not see any results
its not yet released.
I think this is an in-house development PCB. It's not final/retail.
Is GK104 the GTX 680? That implies it's the top-end.... and (I hear) GK104 is not going to take the performance crown back.
The PWM and power plugs kinda support this.
Weird VRMs... Btw, I would be pretty surprised if Nvidia stops using Heatspreader from now on on their Highend-cards.
fea la wea XD
Lmao, they added points for a 6 pin connector, and yet they decided to stack them. :D
The rest of the card looks rather midrange, too - apart from the two SLI connectors.
Looks fake to me.
I was under the impression that GK104 was the mid-range card and not the 'enthusiast' model.
What is the point of the double decker power connector, what advantages does it have over your bog standard ones??? Other than space for more power connectors by the side of it ofc.
*NDA edit
mid range or high end..that is answer i would like to know...
That stacked power connector block, how many can it take.? Looks like it can take 3x 8pin.?
yeah it's too small for that many pcie connectors
there, i fixed it :p
now this is highend :D
Is it a new Voodoo 7000 or what? :D
3x PCI-e connectors ? oO
I see 2.
design lulz?
Yeah that's right. I thought the space between them was another one :D
But like SoF said above: design looks pretty curious...
imagine 2x GPU on a 45x20cm PCB ^^
All we need to know ...

Wow, thanks for sharing. Well, not hard to break this score with a comparable system and a ~40% overclocked HD7970 I think (without tessellation tweaks of course).
@kroks (previous page): I see what you did there :D
Edit: Just realized that GPU-Z is buggy and 1006MHz are stock clock. *facepalm*
wow, can be this real? Now we need know the price.
wait few days and will see many better scores ... :) Radeon HD 7970 was totally defated on air ...
OBR still the best ... all your news has been confirmed :) SA shame
If it's true, then we need better CPUs to keep up.
"Do not rush to sell your HD7970 ;)" Uh-oh ...
drivers?
Or they will have to launch a GTX680+ version :)
ask tudor for it too ... :)
next hours someone will post all scores so we will see, i already sold my 7970, or i buy 7970 lightning or buy a 680 let's see.
wow can't remember of such a "leakage-firework" past the last 2 years :D
GTX 680 on sale @ neweeg tonite for $500ish
my 7970 Lightning = 1300 on air at 1.3V, my GTX 680 = 1270 at 1.1V voltage, 1330 MHz on air at 1.17V ...
But how high does your 680 go on LN2? :)
I... I wish I lived in the states for this launch. The cards are over $200 more expensive in Sweden. As usual.
dont know yet ... but i smell, the right 7970 will be better ... look at poor VRM at GTX 680
in czech rep are for 457 EUR inc. VAT
Vince's went as high as 1848MHz, don't know about OBR's :p
Game test performance in 3D11 is really weird compared to 7970/
Is tessellation turned on or disabled in your 7970 screen ?
Yeah, figured that it's probably related to tesselation stuff.
Kepler? 1848? where?
Could be that combined with Systeminfo stuff as well.
Systeminfo?

;)
not bad ...
Not bad? oO Not so good you should say! Yo! Vinbo! Where is the WR ? :D (kidding keep pushing...)
Taking bets on Vinbo hitting 2GHz soon.
someone told us here, GK104 is not so good under LN2 as HD 7970, but it seems as classic BS ... :)

but no one shows vantage?
7970 + ~2k total points @ Performance preset. That's my prediction based on the card's scaling in Vantage.
kingpin talking on KCF something about 1900+ GPU clock ...
Yes 1900mhz core with Evga expandble soldred on to card because the VRM on gtx680 is not big enough
Lets se the lightning modded with a expandble an 5.6ghz 3930k
