Team KATANA demos Xtreme OC in Nihonbashi, Japan

Yesterday, I believe, Team KATANA was present at the J&P Computer Store in Nihonbashi, Japan. To do what? Overclocking of course! Although he language barrier is making it difficult to fully grasp the details of the event, we can see quite a lot of enthusiasts watching the demo. Members of Team Katana who were present at the event: Hideo, Gyrock, Motoleader, Yancyan and CAL930.

Nice to see extreme overclocking getting more and more worldwide exposure. I hope (but don't doubt) that the attending Team KATANA members had a lot of fun! Check out the blog post for more pictures.

The event was quite fun for us and maybe for the audience, I hope :)
This was the first Extreme OC event held in the west part of Japan and also the first one since the disaster this spring.
50 or more people came to J&P Technoland at Nipponbashi, Osaka to see the demo.
We had two sysytems running different benchmarks. Hideo, Motoleader and yancyan did AM3, 01SE and 03 and got some good resuts including impressive 03 score 182880 from Hideo.
CAL & me tried 3DMark11(not training for MOA :D) and faced lots of troubles. hahaha!
CAL's mobo died just after starting the demo so we bought the new mobo there. Then made quick preparation and started again.
The new system seemed well up to 1450 but could't exceed 1470...
OCP? Checked it and ok. PSU? Changed and nothing got better...
After some more struggleing time, we gave up becouse we thought "it must be bad contact" and it was:D
Cal and me, "the failers", then joined the audience to see the another demo by Hideo's team:D
It was very nice to see our team mates runnning benches well:)
Next time, I should be an audience:D

Hi Honda-san, this type of dewer is quite popular in Japan. You can use the slender nozzle to refill it:)
