AMD FX - Bulldozer 3 GHz ES sample for sale (illegal!)

In no time, the Obrovsky blog became one of my favorite blogs. Not because of the huge load of information, but because of the audacious content of course.

Too bad it'll get shut down once AMD figures out OBR is (re-)selling Bulldozer ES for roughly €290. AMD law office, do your job!

Translated: "Want Bulldozer before everyone else, at least two months before? You have the possibility of Chinese offers me more (a bit later). Is a 3 GHz clock speed, multiplier locked. But as a toy for the super enthusiast for new technologies. Eight cores, including functional Turbo Core."

Just in case someone gets their panties in a twist. No, this is not advertisement. Just bringing news into the open.

Czech Republic OBR says:

Google translation is bad, here is correct:

Wants Bulldozer before everyone else, at least two months before launch? My Chinese contact offers me new Sample, 3 GHz default clock, locked multiplier, working Turbo. Its not final sillicon, but great toy for enthusiast. Eight cores for 260 EUR with postage fees from China.

Belgium Massman says:

You're so rogue :D

TaPaKaH says:

if you buy ES from a private source, why then are you so afraid of posting full results with them?
would bring your site sooo much bandwidth :D

Christian Ney says:

Damn, it's locked multi :(

K404 says:

260E for octocore ES is not that bad!

Canada Vinster says:

interesting.

Also this. Claims to have no respect for NDA and calls AMD a bunch of homo's yet blocks everything out, even bios versions lol.

Canada Trouffman says:

Interesting, the thing is... even if you sell / re-sell CPU in europe, you can get some bad law suit... But who cares as this is not the leak source...

There is always leak and ES CPUs on slae from China... since that leak source isn't fixed we will always have ES CPU before launch as long as we have money to pay for it :)

ANyway ES = no warranty ^^ and with the 990FX board already out I'm sure we will see more and more AMD CPU leaked before launch...

United States G H Z says:

"AMD law office, do your job!"

...and Intel please keep ignoring ES sales

United States sin0822 says:

not that i support NDA breaches, but ORB isn't going to get into any trouble with AMD, the seller might and they might go after him, that is if they can figure out who they are. The reality is that its not worth it in any way for AMD or even Intel to pull someone into a civil suit over things like this, we never see it happen with users like us, over an NDA breach sure, but not this especially not in a country where AMD or Intel isn't based. Its sad i know. But that is a good deal
