Salt, OBR and Bulldozer

No idea how much salt I should use to spice up this newspost, but it seems that Czech overclocker OBR has posted a few numbers on the upcoming Bulldozer. Are they true, are they not ... who knows. At least they give something to look forward to!

Results: Wprime 32M = 48% faster than Thuban, SuperPI 1M 23%, Cinebench R11.5 32% and Cinebench R10 44%. I'll re-host the images in the forum.

lmao

FlanK3r says:

its not final retail!...But look at wprime and Cinebench R10. In r10 is simillary as i7 980x and in wprime 2.0 destroy all CPUs! i7 990x has in wprime2.0 6.753s (again for other, Im talking about this wprime, not wprime 1.55, here are big score diference! )

Christian Ney says:

yep, sound good, but superpi is slow isn't it ?

TaPaKaH says:

does it overclock well ?

Greece George_oc says:

No respect for NDA? :(

FlanK3r says:

superpi is not much quickly, but better than Phenoms II. In every way, superpi doesnt nothing about real performance.

Wow, i am honoured to be at HWB front page!

Until homo guy Bruno will be at AMD PR, i will allways break AMD NDA like many years before ... thats all.

This chip is not final sillicon maybe, but ist almost Final. I am 99 percent sure, retail released product at the same freq will have the same performance, my sample is very new ... PS. its not a gift or free cpu ... i paid for it lot of money ...

Base clock is 3.2 GHz and Turbo in 99 percents cases working properly. Only few are suspicious, for example Cinebench R11.5. Overclocking with this sample is not interesting, default voltage is pretty high. And under LN2 iv reached only 5+ GHz, not 6GHz ... but seems, till -100 no CB.

regardless of who you have conflicts with, I assume bruno and I assume becasue he does not send you samples.....( nor would I ) that is not an excuse to breach NDA.

Don't think your under NDA? Of course you are. You paid alot for a chip? Jokes still on you.

That cpu is still the property of AMD and thus implies an NDA no matter how much you paid according to global laws ;)

Australia Dinos22 says:

i dont see the frequency anywhere in the shots honda, where did you see 3.46

United States Hondacity says:

oops its the result..no sleep have its downsides lol

United States sin0822 says:

looks good if its real freq, i expected worse.

You are correct that is the property of AMD, so under "global laws" that might be misappropriation of property.

But he is absolutely under no NDA.

Non-Disclosure Agreement - If he didn't agree to one, he is not covered by one. Tada!

An NDA is not magically infused into a piece of hardware and applied to anyone who touches it ;)

Czech Republic OBR says:

chew, hehehe you are right, but who cares about? Go to eBay and tell them ...

Believe me if a company decided to make an example of someone I'm sure they could make lots of things stick and have the money/lawers to do so ;)
