Foxconn coming out with an Intel X79 motherboard too

First high-end X79 mainboard to find its way to the web?

As confirmed at Computex this week, Foxconn will be aiding the adoption of Intel's upcoming Sandy Bridge-E platform (LGA2011) by releasing at least one motherboard bearing the Quantum Force brand and the X79 Express chipset.

The still in the works x79 board made by Foxconn features a 14-phase power design, four DDR3 memory slots (quad-channel), four PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots likely providing both SLI and CrossFireX support, six SATA and eight SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 3.0 ports (on the backpanel), two eSATA connectors, 7.1 channel audio, a debut LED, and overclocking, Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons.

The Quantum Force X79 will debut in Q4 with the rest of its OC-ready competitors.
