Makers To Demo Intel X79 Boards at COMPUTEX 2011

This should make an interesting Computex. It'll probably be just showing the boards and not the performance of the platform itself. Perhaps Asrock will, as always, breach NDA on public events and demo the platform ...

Since Intel Z68 Express chipset is coming out around the corner, motherboard makers has turned their attention to the X79 Express chipset and planned to showcase the boards during COMPUTEX Taipei 2011. If you are lucky enough, you can catch some running demos somewhere. Intel X79 boards will be ready as early as August and Sandy Bridge-E processor about a month after. Let's take a closer look at what this high end desktop chipset and Sandy Bridge-E processor have to offer.

Belgium Massman says:

For those who don't understand the reference to Asrock's booth: Asrock has a habit of breaching NDA for Intel processors at their booths. At CeBIT, for instance, they showed 990X as well as 980X running well before NDA was over.

Maybe the same will happen this year :D

United States Hondacity says:

nice more reasons to ditch gt lol

Belgium Massman says:

GT should still last to November at least.

France Xyala says:

Ah, great souvenirs from Cebit :D I still remember the tape on the 990x name written on the booth to hide it :p

Australia Jimba says:
