GIGABYTE Touch BIOS in Action

Lucky for Hondacity, it's Colin again!

For those keeping score, GIGABYTE Touch BIOS will be made available on the GIGABYTE website early next week for the media who have received early samples with full release to come soon after that. In the meantime, I thought I’d throw up a quick intro video for those who want to see a little more of GIGABYTE’s Touch BIOS in action before it launches.

I wonder what's the camera icon for. To take screenshots from the bios?

Argentina Warrior_oF_Byte says:

But this utility run under Windows??? When he remove the icons, the program ask for confirmation and that tiny windows it's very similar a win7 windows.

Belgium Massman says:

Yes, it's a windows application.

K404 says:

I like it, but I dunno how it'll make people more comfortable about making changes. They're still the same changes with the same effects, stick a ribbon on it if ya like, you could still kill your CPU :)

Eeky NoX says:

Yup think it's good too, nice trick I'd say, but what it'll change for real ? I wander for us ? Nothing...

Canada Vinster says:

I guess this means you wont need ET6 anymore? And will it actually save to the bios? so if you re-boot, you don't need to re-apply the settings? and Lastly, will it be available for the X58 platform? or is it just for the new P67+'s?

Belgium Massman says:

ET6 is for changes in OS; this tool for changes in BIOS. So you'll need ET if you want to increase clock in OS beyond bootable settings.
