Fatal1ty provides extreme overclockers some new tweaks!

Sorry for the amateur footage. Of course, it's only in rare cases that this kind of tweaks find their way to the broad public. The tweak is explained in the first 30 seconds of the video.

Much thanks to Fatal1ty for bringing this to the open!

United States Minor Outlying Islands Kal-EL says:

He is using an ES mouse? wtf?

K404 says:

****. Gotta have a faster mouse if I wanna get the best scores!

Germany SoF says:

When he was playing against the audience I was tempted to go there just to tell him "I might not be able to make a single frag against you, but for sure my FPS will be higher :P " :D

Australia Dinos22 says:

ah so its much smoother :D

United States Linuxfan says:

Overclock your mouse for better FPS? Oh, thats why I use a 2800DPI laser mouse. Ooh, there is a faster one available now, time to grab it for higher scores... Wait, didn't I use a cheap dell optical mouse for my LN2 runs the other day? Scores were normal... hmm... :p

Australia Jimba says:

Overclock a mouse? then why is there 5700dpi+ mouses? i want to see this guy get introduced to some LN2...oh wait..hes not worthy :P

Finland Mean Machine says:

That would explain chew's results. :D

Belgium Massman says:

You can OC the USB port on the Asrock board to improve beyond mouse specifications. Madness! Madness I tell you!

Denmark M.Beier says:

F***, I am so unhappy wiht this! This was my main tweak that gives me a leap - the little extra to beat K404! Now I am screwed! How could you do this to me?

K404 says:

Marc Beier does not need to OC his mouse to take WR. Marc Beier needs that "little extra" to beat K404..... made my day :D

Argentina Manu_182 says:

@Massman: Madness?... this is OC! (said with Leonidas' voice, and landing a huge roundhouse in your chest at the same time).

United States sno says:

This isn't new. OCing the USB port has been around since forever ;)

Germany SoF says:

does oc'ing a monitor from 60 to 100 Hz (or even 150?!) will be the next new thing Failtality will reveal?

anti-T-kom says:

I he shovel'n a lot of money? He does :D Does anyone really think he cares about any feature on that board...c'mon guys time to wake up :D ...btw...I've that board :D

United States Minor Outlying Islands Kal-EL says:

He's not cool until he pours some ln2 on it ;)

United States redhat_ownage says:

this has nothing to do with the DPI, DPI means nothing for gaming.
800dpi is all you will ever need in 99% of games, whats hes talking about is overclocking the signal between the mouse and computer, most mice run at 125hz polling rate, and have a nominal response time of 8-200ms under normal use.
if you increase the poling rate of the mouse it responds faster to your movements.
most high end gaming mice have a 1000hz polling rate which has a nominal response time of about 1ms-5ms.
