Titon takes AMD PiFast / SuperPi 1M world records

We are very sorry, but due to the current method of calculating the hwboints, this member does not get the credit he should be getting. Titon, member of Team Ironmods, managed to beat two of the most prestigious world records in the AMD overclocking scene, namely the Hexus Pifast and Superpi 1M world record.

It has been know for quite some time that the Phenom is capable of beating all AMD world records, but in these days of coldbugs and very bad overclocking motherboards, it’s sometimes hard to find the golden combo … but apparrently Titon did! Titon is running his Phenom X4 9950BE processor under his Single Stage cooling unit and has, apparently, no coldbug related problems. Next to that, his motherboard is running at a stunn 275+Mhz HT link frequency, which is quite remarkable since most people hit a wall at around 250Mhz.

CPU: AMD Phenom 9950 Black Edition @ 3.878Ghz (14×277) @ 1.6125v (BIOS)
MEMORY: Micron D9GHM @ 2.42v running 554Mhz 4-4-4-5-11-2T
PSU: Silverstone Strider 700Watt

PiFast world record set at 30,03s

SuperPi 1M world record set at 19,922s.

You did a fantastic job, Titon, let’s hope to see more from this setup!
