HWBOT Releases First In-house Benchmark: HWBOT Unigine Heaven Benchmark

HWBOT launches first DirectX11 based online comparison benchmark

Rijmenam, Belgium – August 20th, 2010 – HWBOT (http://hwbot.org), industry leading provider of online overclocking competitions and overclocking-related information, is proud to announce the public release of its first in-house benchmark application: HWBOT Unigine Heaven Benchmark. This benchmark application features the first DirectX11-based benchmark comparison tool; allowing overclockers, gamers, media and OEMs from all around the world to measure and compare the DirectX11 rendering performance.

The HWBOT Unigine Heaven Benchmark application consists of the Unigine Heaven benchmark and a wrapper software tool developed by HWBOT. The benchmark comes in two shapes: a DirectX9 (Basic) preset, allowing people to test and compare low-end and mainstream setups, and a high-end DirectX11 (Xtreme) preset to test and compare the latest graphics cards. Next to the two presets, the wrapper software allows users to submit scores directly to the HWBOT database or, in case the test system has no internet connection, the possibility to save your result.

The benchmark comes in three different shapes: light, typical and full.

– Light: HWBOT tool
– Typical: HWBOT tool + CPU-Z + GPU-Z + Unigine Heaven
– Full: HWBOT tool + CPU-Z + GPU-Z + Unigine Heaven + DirectX

Download: light, typical and full.

Pricing: This benchmark application is free for use.

Have you installed the full version?

If it says you're not running DX11 ... it's not running DX11 :)

Christian Ney says:

Good Job

Belgium jmke says:

congratz!

Canada Dieselburb says:

Full version installed, GTX 480 SLI setup, I will try re-installing and updating. Other DX11 demos and games have been fine, otherwise very cool, a nice add-in/change from the original Heaven demo.

It lets me run Basic DX9 at 1280x768 with default settings. I thought 1280x1024 was for valid scores? Anyway, great bench, waitin for the boints now :)

Belgium Massman says:

V1.0.1 or V1.0.2 ?

United States OSWiz says:

So, will the bench eventually award HWBOT points?

Yes, when it has proven to be stable.

1.0.2 (non beta)

Belgium Massman says:

Then you shouldn't be able to save the score. Normally, a message will pop up after the benchmark is run.

Im not gettin any message after the bench is finished, thats why i wanted to let u guys know....I can run on 1280x768 without problems at all, save the *.hwbot file and submit it manually. Ill do more tests this weekend.

Belgium Massman says:

can you submit the score and post the link here so we can check it out? Chances are the checksum will be invalid.

ive only noticed when i switched the card.

Belgium Massman says:

And your monitor does not support the 1280x1024 resolution?

The one i was usually using (26") didnt, switched back to a 24" that does.

Belgium Massman says:

Ehr ... 24 and 26 inch screens will support 1280x1024. So, your desktop is lower, but since the monitor is still capable of it, the benchmark will just run at the resolutino.

For the sake of it ill just plug another card this weekend and run on the 26er, and get some prtscreens, then publish the results.

Australia boscar says:

All was working OK, but now not so good.
Heaven benchmark runs fine by it's self, no problem.
But when I try and run the HwBot .exe I get the black screen with a FPS in the top right.
So far I've,
Removed all overclocks.
reinstalled the GPU Drivers Ati 10.9
reinstalled Open Al
reinstalled the HwBot heaven benchmark
Updated direct x
Still no joy.

any help would be appreciated.

I've got the same problem as boscar, with my HD5970 and my GTX260 (and actually with all graphics cards I have tested so far..) No one has a solution for this problem?
