All the AMD Phenom II overclockers know that these series of CPUs have issues when it comes to raw memory frequency overclocking. As a matter of fact, many sources have confirmed that the Phenom technology is limited to a theoretical maximum memory frequency! Just today, Chew* managed to squeeze past the frequency we used to believe was the highest possible an set two new AMD world records.
The new world record has been set to 973MHz through SuperPI 1M an 960MHz through SuperPI 32M; previous world records were respectively 956MHz and 960MHz
