Third Stop: Asia, Computex in Taipei, Taiwan June 6-8
A couple weeks ago, we returned from Europe and the HWBOT World Tour stop at the Gamers Assembly in France. Today, we proudly announce the third stop of the HWBOT World Tour, this time in Asia! From June 6 to 8 you can join us for three days of non-stop overclocking at the MakerBar in Taipei, Taiwan on the days that follow the Computex 2015 trade show. Similar to the other World Tour stops, the Asia stop features three events:
- Extreme OC gathering (BYOC Bench Party)
- World Series competition (exclusive to those attending the above)
- ASUS ROG OC Showdown Area (in which you can overclock for WR, cash and fame)
The HWBOT World Tour Asia stop is brought to you by HWBOT and partners: ASUS ROG, HyperX, Seasonic, Intel, DimasTech, and OverClocking-TV.
Catering to the HWBOT Elites and Extreme overclockers attending the computex trade-show, the World Tour stop Asia features the ASUS ROG OC Showdown Area and World Series competitions for which cash and hardware prizes are up for grabs! Note that this stop does not feature workshop or competition for amateurs. But that shouldn’t stop you from passing by and meet your fellow overclockers anyway!
Reserve Your Spot & Join Us
For the 2015 HWBOT World Tour – Asia Computex there are 30 seats available. An entry ticket costs USD $70 and comes with a dedicated bench place (table + seat), unlimited access to LN2, access the World Series competition and access to ASUS ROG OC Showdown Area. In short, for overclockers, this is your ticket option:
- BenchSpot – Individual LN2 Overclocking Pass: suitable for any extreme overclockers. (USD $70)
For the people who wish to swing by and check out the event as visitor: this is possible and free! We require you to book a free visitor ticket on the same EventBrite ticketing page mentioned above. This is for security and safety reasons.
Due to the fact that none of the participants is expected to “drive” to Taiwan for this event, the event partners ASUS ROG, HyperX and Seasonic are providing hardware such as motherboards, graphic cards, memory kits and PSUs on loan for participating overclockers. The rule of one item per person, and first arrived first served applies to reserve a hardware set for yourself. All details on how to reserve the gear are to be found in your ticket reservation email.
We look forward to seeing you in Taipei!
