Update rules: Bugged driver-rule elaborated

Because of the recent findings during the H55/H57 IGP competition, we have found ourselves obliged to elaborate on a long-standing rule. As from this point forward, official drivers causing a benchmark not to render correctly will no longer be accepted at HWBOT. Incorrect rendering would be defined as clear visual indications that parts of the benchmark are either not visible or in some way improperly rendered. AMD Phenom II X6 slides leaked

Placid takes February OC Challenge Crown - S754 WR shattered!

f.pngLast month, HWBOT held another low-level OC Challenge in the form of a S754 reference clock competition. The aim was to get the highest HTT clock frequency and, if possible, breaking the former record of 469.41MHz. To our surprise, no less than FOUR overclockers managed to beat this record and go well beyond 470MHz HTT frequency. Turrican wins HWBOT Jan '10 OC Challenge - Contest big success!

turrican Turrican, Austrian top-overclocker, has won the first edition of the HWBOT OC Challenge. In a competition which was long dominated by Romanian overclocker ZM, the last 24h proved to be (once again) the most important part of the competition. MSI removes coldbug from GD80/Trinergy/Fuzion

Just today, MSI released the modifications to remove the coldbug issue from three of their P55 mainboards: the GD80, Trinergy and Fuzion. EVGA fixes memory overclockability with Clarkdale?

img_3336.jpgEveryone who has tried the Clarkdale will have noticed that only the 2:6 provided enough headroom when pushing the BCLK to extreme heights. About a week ago, Hicookie showed us that Gigabyte already had a fix in place by running 276MHz BCLK in combination with 1107MHz memory. On the Kingpincooling forums Shamino, Evga’s in-house overclocker, has provide a possible fix for the Evga mainboard.
