Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Base Clock 4.2 GeekBench:
5255 / 10284
Motherboard enabled Boost Clock 4.2-4.5:
5514 / 10964
Tested on retro pc case of HP Pavillion XT933 with HP X90 CRT monitor:
COOLER: Silverstone AR06 (Idle 30C)
MOBO: Asrock Fatal1ty Z270 ITX
RAM: Samsung DDR4 (2x4) 8GB 2133
SSD: LiteOn 512GB MLC (R550/W500mbs)
PSU: FSP Dugger SFX 500W 80Gold
GPU: GT 730 DDR3 2gb 128bit (fan)
UPDATE:
06.22.2019
After SPECTR attacks on intel CPUs and update patches sent to intel CPUs, plus after many updates to Windows 10, it eventually lowered its performance (but that happens over time to any Windows system). It no longer become stable of overclocked to 4.7-5.0Ghz. So I had compensate with overclocking it to 4.6ghz and get Nvidia GT1030 2GB, upgrade to Corsair NVME 120gb SSD, and add 140mm intake fan. Still running great.

This CPU has the third fastest single threaded performance of any consumer CPU at the time of this review. That translates into boot times and basic loading speeds that are incredibly short. The only catches are: (1) you need to find this product on sale and (2) you need to order a cooler for it. I wouldn't pay over $150 for this. Personally, I ordered a stock intel cooler on Amazon for $10 and it does the job. I got both CPU and cooler for under $150. The poor reviews online are all based on $180 price tags or for non-desktop uses.
I wanted high clock speed on a budget, which is what I got, but you can get that for less(i3-7100). And if you are building on a budget, you want the highest clock speed at the cheapest price. Don't get me wrong, it's a good CPU, but if I had to do it over again I would go with the 7100@3.9ghz with a cheap cooler or jump up to an i5 with quad cores
Nowadays the i3-8100 can be had for less on sale but the lower speeds probably mean about the same level of performance w/o having to upgrade to a Z370 mobo. Just don't buy this at more than $120ish, it is currently overpriced.
The new 2nd gen Ryzen CPU's might stomp this price down soon!

I wouldn't bother doing virtualization of any kind with any i3 processors though since they all lack the extra cores/threads required to do so
You will get bottle necked on some demanding games if you have higher settings on so better stick to low or medium settings.
An sich eine geniale Cpu und für neue spiele wie geschaffen.
