Going from a dual core too a quad core in a laptop major upgrade the laptop runs faster but drains the battery really fast which is normal is it worth it for the money yes if you know what you are doing and also these CPUs are normal to run hot look it up just have a cooling pad on hand.
What happen? I changed the processor and the laptop are very fast, and after some time appeared on my screen many pixels "failling and dancing", with color red and rose, but I think that this is because the motherboard doesn't support the configuration of processor.
I'm sad, and if any want to make an upgrade, research very well before to buy.

No problems with this cpu, just a bit of work to take the laptop apart that this was going into. Temperatures during stress test and idle were expected to be high but at 35C idle and 63C during heavy work loads... wait, who am I kidding... laptop cooling systems have never been that great so no surprise there.
Cant stress this enough but, make sure its going to fit properly, this is a fs1r2 socket type cpu and isn't going to fit in regular fs1 types.
