THIS IS A SCAM!!!! if there is no video(which i cant find yet) then its fake. just some moron that doesnt like AMD so he is trying to publish numbers to make it look good for intel. as i recall AMD had their 6-core, with ALL 6-CORES up close to 7ghz, and it was done on video live for all to see. and when they get the AMD that fast its with the best video cards in crossfire, not a cheap 8400gs. this guy is a douche, please discredit these numbers till a video is up to prove it.

anyone can produce these numbers in text. lets see a video of the overclock with the video camera showing the screen with the numbers after a reboot and not after they were fixed. anyone can become a great overclocker by fixing numbers. if i see a video to prove this i will take back all i said. if he can afford a 980x cpu there is no reason he cant afford a $200 video camera. i dont think he will produce a video cause he knows its fake. just watch, there will be no video i guarantee it.

i was just checking on cpu-z and there is no 980x that was validated at 7ghz. if i got a speed that high i would have validated it and also had a video camera taping the whole thing.

I will try to be polite and assume that you are pretty naive and pretty new to overclocking and just idolise Youtube, so will explain to you why no1 else in the extreme overclocking questions Hicookie.

First he has been overclocking for more than a few years. Have attended many a live International Overclocking Tournaments along with online Tournaments, and have secured very good positions in all of them(most of the time winning). Have been on top of rankings for a few years now. Works for a pretty respectable? company Gigabyte.

Now many of the other overclockers here are very very experienced. They can/will detect a cheat sooner than later. Now coming to the AMD vs Intel thing, if it was Intel promoting it, they certainly would have publicized it more aggressively than presently. If you still keep on trolling then may god help you,

AMD OC records in terms of frequency and 2D are all done on a single core as well....the issue is that CPUz can only disaply one core at a time and if you select the core you are overclocking in CPuz it looks like you are on one only.....

my 1M record a while back on amd platform was done with the second or third core at 6.7 and the rest were at 4.5ghz hehehe
